The swing-type pneumatic Ceramic Rotary Feed Valve is an industrial valve used for conveying media such as powders, granules, or slurries. Due to its unique structural design and the properties of ceramic materials, it is widely used in pneumatic conveying systems.


Structural Composition: It mainly consists of a valve body, ceramic gate, Ceramic Valve seat, pneumatic actuator, and spring. The valve body is generally made of carbon steel, while the gate and valve seat are made of alumina ceramic. The pneumatic actuator is connected to the gate via a valve stem to achieve the valve's opening and closing action.


Working Principle: When air is introduced from the inlet at the rear of the cylinder, the cylinder extends axially outward, driving the rotating arm to rotate the valve stem. This drives the gate, connected to the valve stem via an internal connecting rod, to rotate away from the valve seat, opening the valve. When air is introduced from the inlet at the front of the cylinder, the cylinder retracts axially, driving the rotating arm to rotate the valve stem. This drives the gate to rotate closer to the valve seat until the gate and valve seat are engaged, closing the valve.


Product Features


1. Excellent Sealing Performance: The gate ceramic parts and ceramic valve seat use 95% high-quality alumina ceramic, which is finely ground, polished, and achieves bubble-level sealing. A spring on the back of the gate ensures constant contact between the gate and valve seat, guaranteeing a tight seal without jamming, and compensating for thermal expansion and contraction and wear.


2. High Wear Resistance: The ceramic material has high hardness and erosion resistance, effectively resisting wear from particulate media and extending valve life.


3. Less Prone to Dust Accumulation: The valve body outlet adopts a beveled structure with a large valve cavity, facilitating material self-fall and preventing material accumulation within the valve cavity. The gate rotates during opening and closing, scraping away media adhering to the valve wall, further preventing dust accumulation.


4. Long Service Life: The piston rod of the pneumatic actuator does not contact the media, avoiding corrosion and wear. Simultaneously, the rotating valve rod solves the problem of external leakage from the valve shaft packing seal, resulting in a longer overall valve service life. 


Application Areas: Primarily used in dry ash systems of thermal power plants as inlet and outlet valves, vent valves, etc. It can also be used in bulk material conveying systems in industries such as cement, chemical, metallurgy, and papermaking to achieve material feeding control.
